The ILZSG report data shows that in the first quarter of 2018, the global demand for refined lead metal exceeded the supply of 37,000 tons. During the same period, total inventory levels fell by 26,000 tons. Global lead production increased by 8.9% compared to the first quarter of 2017, mainly due to the increase in production in China, Morocco and Turkey.
